Ice cream and fake chocolate

It's a subtle change in ice cream. It used to be that you'd buy a half gallon of ice cream. Boy, that tub would last for a little while. Then it was 1.75 quarts. But now... NOW ... it's 1.5 quarts for the same price. Why not just sell a gallon of milk as 3.5 quarts? Sell me 3/4 of an apple?

I'm waiting for them to advertise the new "family size" of a half gallon right next to the old 1.25 quart tub we'll be buying next. It sure doesn't last as long as it used to - no wonder.

If you're going to raise the price just do it.

I've noticed the candy companies doing this for years. A pound of M&M's was in a pound bag. Then I noticed that it was 13 oz. Now the bag sizes are all over the place. I suspect so you cannot tell how much they're charging per ounce.

And changing the formula for candy? Hershey's had this Kissables I used to like. "Milk Chocolate" it had. It was better than M&M's. Until the bags no longer said Milk Chocolate and said "Chocolate candy". The milk chocolate was replaced with vegetable oil. Well, you know I didn't buy another one of those after that. Sad part is, I used to buy Hershey's all the time. Now I'm slowly finding that some companies don't care about their reputation and their brand. Hershey's just doesn't have the same draw for me like it used to.
