Israel and the Palestinians

I've been watching this whole Israel and Palestinian conflict and I've realized how sad this is. The oppressed have become the oppressors and we do little to try and correct the situation. Why does Israel have to shoot women and children? Steal land from Palestinians? Create settlement outposts in Palestinian lands when they have plenty of land of their own? Starve the Gaza strip? Capture people delivering food supplies to hungry people and jail them?

It's almost like watching someone who was bullied as a child grow up to become a bully.
